Virgil Bougard has set rules,no falling in love again, no long term relationships, no marriage he is a bachelor for life. Kara Goshsy has different ideas. Allowing others to define your relationship is never a good idea especially when your aren't sure they have your best interest at heart. On the flip side of the coin there is always a secret power pulling for you. Bachelor Unforgiving Bachelors in Demand Brenda Jackson Books Reviews
This is the 5th book of a romantic series by Brenda Jackson and I have read them all . With this in mind I think this is by far the best one in the series. What a really really awesome story detailing forgiveness which we all know is sometimes one of the hardest thing we have ever had to do in our life. In the end we all saw the results of forgiveness and how the hero and heroine had their HEA. I love the book and now wait patiently for Zion's book, hope it will not be too long😊😊😊. I highly recommend the book and also the others in this awesome romantic series.
A very quick read. I understand Virgil was hurt by Kara not believing him, but to still be unpleasant and unforgiving four years later seemed a bit much.
For Kara to want him back after him being so judgmental for so long just didn't sit well with me. At least she was gracious enough to admit her mistake and apologize.
I felt that Kara was too forgiving. Did she ever wonder how he would treat her if other difficult circumstances arose? But, they finally got their HEA. It was an ok book.
I really enjoyed this book the most out of the previous books. They were all good but the chemistry between Kara and Virgil definitely made me want to read more long after the book had ended. I cheered for them from the beginning and was glad to see the sisters reconcile. I’m eager to see what happens between Uriel’s parents. I was quite interested to read about the regret in her eyes! Hopefully there’ll be a book about it. I was excited to see him propose to Cheyenne’s mother! Great book!
I'm a follower of your books. I truly enjoyed Virgil & Kara ' s story . I liked how you had Matthew intervening on his sons' behalf, even though the son, Virgil didn't realize what dad was doing. I thought Virgil was acting a little immature , in not accepting Kara ' s apology and holding on to a grudge for four years. He came to his senses before he truly lost that blessing , put before him. Kara should have investigated more about what her sister claimed, begire assuming all was true. I didntn't mind seeing the woman work a little to get her man back. Usually it's the male. Marti shared her story with her sister & starred some therapy .
Great storyline , plot, characters, and ending.
Can't wait to read about Zion, Marti, and a follow-up on I believe Uriel's dad.
How many times in life has a lie nearly changed your life for ever? Virgil B was angry at his former lover Kara. Kara was determined to own up to her mistake of believing someone very close to her. Viirgil's godbrothers are trying to get him to see forgiveness is best..Virgil does all he can to expunge her from his system. Matthew B , Virgil's father needs him to focus on the company business. An enemy of theirs is threatening to expose that Virgil deflowered his virgin daughter. His father calls in a PR firm to improve his image. What a coincidence that PR firm is Kara's. Virgil is livid.
His patience is tried and he discovers something about himself.
Will he forgie Kara? Will she accept his forgiveness or will Virgil lose the love of his lfe?
Great read..
As with all other Brenda Jackson books, this book was a fantastic read! With only two bachelors left, it was inevitable that they would soon fall. Virgil and Kara's story was not totally dissimilar to his god brothers, so for him to feel that te would be able to hold on to his bachelor ways was laughable. My only concern in the book was the issue with Marti. When she acknowledges why she did what she did to Kara, there is a conversation about why she changed her phone number. With her past and helping to put people in jail, it seemed the author might be expounding on that story line. I actually hope Marti's story appears in another book. Look out Zion it's your turn!
A loving couple with plans for the future. A mistake made that derails the future. Can you learn to forgive, forget, and move forward? Well it seems that everyone can except Virgil Bougard. Virgil's woman accused him unjustly. Now, 4 years later when the error was found, she attempted to apologize with no success. Virgil is stubborn and bitter. Kara is confident that he working relationship with Virgil will remind him of what they had and rekindle their need for each other.
The storyline was Ok. Nothing original. The guy always thinks he can "pretend" and his feelings will never manifest..of course, he's always wrong. The only thing I wished was included was V and Kara working through the lie. Regardless that her sister lied, Kara believed it..where was her trust in the man she loved? Where was her understanding of her culpability? Virgil was extremely bitter and while you understood his point on some level, he just became childish as the story droned on.
In the end they got together, but you were more relieved that the story was finally coming to an end than in them finding their HEA.
I love Brenda Jacksons book, but not every one. This wasn't my fave, but I'll always recommend her writings.
