It could have been longer, but was OK. I hope to read other books from u and they are longer to read. This one left me hanging and I don't like that at all.
While I enjoyed this short read, the author was ver remiss in keeping her story straight. At the beginning she said that Torstein had a wife who had died in childbirth, then later said he never was married. Then she talked about Fryja laying naked on a pallet and then the next paragraph she was still fully clothed. Those small mistakes all add up and detract from the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. As with most of Diane books, I was captivated for the length of the book giving me a good escape into the character's world. Worth the read!
